Ye is a returning exhibitor at Sager Braudis Gallery, and for the January Exhibits brings a new series in oil and acrylic, presenting close-cropped, colorfully exaggerated portraits that respond to the dishonesty imbedded in social media culture. Her subjects appear to be stripped (or freed) of filters and masks, revealing something genuine and expressive.
