Parallel
“Parallel” is a series of work on canvas with oil and acrylic, inspired social media profiles from around the world. On Social media we share concentrated, embellished or essential lives to reflect what we are or what we want to be, in opposition to the mundane. We share the more colorful and juicier, or more dramatic and tragic of self. Sometimes a selfie is the opposite of our current situation, existing like a hologram of self a parallel virtual reality.
